Despite the fact that protective orders had previously been issued against her husband, this did not stop him, and he continued to torment his wife and threaten her.
As a result, the police registered this crime under Article 138, Part 3 ("Torture") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The detention of the suspect, a man named M.D., born in 1977, was carried out by officers of the Sverdlovsk District Department of Internal Affairs. He has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
