At the GIK construction site in Karakol, violations were addressed after a video on social media.

Recently, a video surfaced on the internet, filmed at the construction site of a new apartment building in Karakol, where users pointed out possible violations. In response, the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services of the Kyrgyz Republic provided an official explanation.

The construction is being carried out by the State Mortgage Company at the intersection of Togolok Moldo and Karasaev streets.

According to the information from the ministry, the Issyk-Kul Regional Department of the State Architecture and Construction Control conducted an inspection, during which gas blocks that did not meet construction standards were discovered. These materials were completely dismantled, and the project now complies with the design and estimate documentation.

The entrepreneur performing the construction work was issued directives, and the process continues as usual. The ministry emphasizes that control over the quality and safety of construction is a priority, and all identified violations will be rectified.
