In the Chui Region, law enforcement officers detained a driver who was using a fake driver's license, according to information from the press service of the department.
An inspector from the Road Safety Department stopped a KIA Optima vehicle, driven by a 28-year-old citizen named K.Sh. (born in 1995).
During the document check, signs of forgery were found on the driver's license.
This incident was officially registered, and a forensic examination was ordered.
According to the results of the examination, the driver's license issued on March 29, 2024, in the name of K.Sh., was produced using a household inkjet printer and does not meet the standards established for official forms of licenses presented by the State Enterprise "Unaa." As a result, this document was recognized as a forgery.
In connection with this, a criminal case has been initiated under articles related to document forgery, according to Article 379 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The driver was detained in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic and placed in a temporary detention facility.
Currently, necessary investigative measures are ongoing in this case.
