The condition of the young man who lost control of his car and fell off a hill has now stabilized. He arrived at the alaman ulak competitions taking place on the shore of the Kempiir-Abad reservoir.

At the moment, the injured man is receiving treatment at the Jalal-Abad Regional Unified Clinical Hospital.

In an interview with a Turmush correspondent, Abdulaziz Abukrariyev shared details of the incident. “On February 8, the day of the accident, I, like many others, went to Uzgen to watch the alaman ulak. That day, the roads were congested — our journey from Suzak to the reservoir took about an hour and a half. Cars were parked on both sides of the road, and I noticed that some vehicles were driving up the hills.

I also decided to climb up to get a better view of the competition. I dropped off my nephews at the top and began to turn the car around to leave. At that moment, the car started to skid and fell down. I didn’t have time to understand anything. The car fell from about 200 meters and landed on a parked Hyundai Porter by the road. Fortunately, my condition has significantly improved now,” he said.

The head of the trauma department at the hospital, Almaz Taylanov, shared information about the patient's condition. “The young man, who is 26 years old, was brought to us in a state of third-degree traumatic shock. Timely medical assistance saved his life. He has registered fractures of eight bones: open fractures of both legs, a fracture of the left femur, a fracture of the left arm, as well as fractures of three ribs on the right side and a concussion. His condition has now stabilized,” the doctor reported.

Earlier, Turmush reported that during the alaman ulak competitions in Uzgen, a Lexus GX470 also fell from a hill about 200 meters high.

Turmush also reported that on February 8 in the Uzgen district, the famous ulakchy, striker of the "Dostuk" team in kok-boru, Manas Niyazov, organized a celebration for the circumcision of his children and the 75th anniversary of his parents.

As part of this celebration, an alaman ulak was held, which was attended by guests from neighboring countries. The competitions took place on the shore of the Kempiir-Abad reservoir.

It is estimated that more than 20-30 thousand people gathered for the alaman ulak.

It is worth noting that during equestrian sports competitions, a 27-year-old ulakchy died, and a spectator from Suzak, who was involved in the accident, sustained serious injuries.

In the evening on the Osh—Bishkek highway, inspectors worked in enhanced mode to prevent traffic jams and ensure public order after the alaman ulak, which attracted a large number of spectators.

The Niyazov family is known for its talented players in kok-boru and ulak tartysh - Manas, Janysh, Bayaman, Kyaz, and Bayysh. Manas Niyazov was the first to start playing ulak tartysh.

Following the example of his father, who was an ulakchy, Manas decided to engage in this national game. His brothers supported him by creating the necessary conditions for sports.

The Niyazov family has 5 sons and 2 daughters, and all the brothers actively participate in ulak tartysh games.
