Manas Niyazov, the organizer of the alaman ulak, publicly expressed his apologies after the tragic events that occurred during the competition. He commented on the incidents and expressed his condolences.
On February 8, an alaman ulak took place on the shores of the Kemper-Abad reservoir in the Uzgen district, which became the site of two unfortunate incidents. According to law enforcement agencies, one of the riders fell into the river along with his horse and tragically died. In another case, a car heading to the event site rolled down a slope, and the driver was urgently hospitalized.
This event was organized as part of the celebration of a toy, which Manas Niyazov arranged in honor of his sons. As prizes, participants were offered several cars, camels, and other animals.
Manas Niyazov himself expressed regret over the incidents and apologized to the public.
He noted that both cases occurred outside the playing area, but this does not absolve him of responsibility. According to him, about 20 hectares were allocated for participant parking, while the playing area was approximately 50 hectares. The day after the tournament, relatives and friends tidied up the area.
