The teenage driver survived
According to the data from the State Traffic Safety Department, the tragedy occurred on February 7 at 03:00 on the Kara-Suu-Kara-Kungoy highway. There were three teenagers in the "Kia K5" car, who took the vehicle without their parents' knowledge and were speeding westward from the village of Kara-Saz.
While driving, the car veered off the road, crashed into a ditch, and overturned. As a result of the collision, two schoolchildren were thrown out of the car, while the driver remained inside. He managed to escape and called for an ambulance.
All three were taken to the intensive care unit of the Kochkor district hospital; however, unfortunately, two of them did not survive. The condition of the third teenager, who was transferred to Bishkek, is assessed by doctors as stable.
