The GKNB detained a suspect
In Manas, the activities of an illegal pawnshop organized by a citizen of Kyrgyzstan named "A.E.S." were discovered, as reported by the press center of the GKNB.
According to the committee's data, the woman provided loans at high interest rates exceeding 150% per annum, accepting movable and immovable property, as well as jewelry made of precious metals as collateral.
For example, a citizen "Sh.K.U." took a loan of 1 million soms from "A.E.S." and paid 150 thousand soms monthly just in interest. During the repayment process, "A.E.S." attempted to illegally seize the property of "Sh.K.U." by threatening him and demanding early repayment of interest, resulting in the confiscation of a car.
On February 4, 2026, "A.E.S." was detained while receiving 200 thousand soms as interest. During searches at her residence, technical passports for real estate, ID passports, documents of ownership for land plots, and pledged jewelry were found.
