According to law enforcement data, drivers of "Toyota 4Runner," "Hyundai Grandeur," and "Hyundai Avante" exhibited auto hooliganism on the main streets of the city: they drove into oncoming traffic and installed unauthorized modifications on their vehicles. As a result, several administrative protocols were drawn up, and the vehicles were placed in a penalty parking lot.
“After a video of the incident appeared on social media, the traffic inspectors were able to quickly identify the offenders and take the necessary measures. Protocols were drawn up against them under Articles 189, 194, and 188 of the Code of Offenses. The total amount of the fine was 85,000 soms, and they were warned about the possible revocation of their driving licenses for up to 6 months in case of repeated violations,” the department noted.
According to the Code of Offenses, driving into oncoming traffic or violating maneuvering rules results in a fine of 150 calculation indicators for individuals.
Article 189. Auto Hooliganism
1. Auto hooliganism is defined as the intentional action of a driver demonstrating disrespect for society and accompanied by violations of traffic rules and vehicle operation (for example, street racing or exhibition driving in unauthorized places), which grossly violates public order and the peace of citizens. A fine of 150 calculation indicators is provided for this.
Article 194. Operation of a Vehicle Modified Without Approval from Authorized Authorities
Paragraph 1. Operating a vehicle that has been modified without the appropriate approval, or with additional equipment not provided for in the design, results in a fine of 55 calculation indicators for individuals and 170 calculation indicators for legal entities.
