A resident of the capital contacted the police after her iPhone 17 Pro Max was stolen on January 30 at 8:00 PM at the intersection of Chuy Avenue and Shopokov Street. She suspected two men of this crime and decided to chase after them.
This incident was registered under Article 205 ("Theft") of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan.
Employees of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek were able to detain one of the suspects in the Talas region. He turned out to be A.B., previously registered as a pickpocket. The detained individual was placed in a temporary detention facility.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the suspect was following the victim at the moment she was trying to catch up with her pursuers.
