In the Talas region, GKNB employees returned to state ownership facilities that had been illegally privatized and used for the provision of essential services to the population.
According to information from the agency, in 2003, the head of the public association "Toboy," named S.T.D., conspired with representatives of the Talas branch of the State Cadastre and the main water management department of the region, which led to the transfer of strategically important water intakes to the balance of his organization.
During the investigation, it was revealed that these facilities, using forged documents, were transferred to private ownership, including land plots of 1.7 ha, 0.68 ha, and 1 ha, as well as the existing infrastructure. The total value of these assets amounted to 36,415,400 soms.
As a result of the investigative actions, the specified facilities were returned to state ownership.
