The checks involve employees of the Drug Control Service of the Main Internal Affairs Department, special unit fighters, staff from district internal affairs offices, and specially trained dogs for searching narcotic substances from the Drug Control Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In the first phase of the operation, establishments such as the nightclub "Vegas" and the disco bar "Teleport" were inspected.
Preventive measures and drug control activities will be conducted regularly. The main goal of the operations is to prevent the illegal trafficking of drugs and psychotropic substances, as well as to ensure law and order and the safety of citizens in Bishkek.
The Main Internal Affairs Department of the capital urges citizens to report information about cases of illegal drug trafficking and places of storage by calling 102, guaranteeing the anonymity of the informants.
