The leaders of this group actively used closed Telegram channels to disseminate banned literature and discuss issues related to the establishment of a caliphate in Kyrgyzstan.
During searches at the residences of the suspects, a significant amount of literature related to "Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami" was found, as well as electronic devices, including computers, flash drives, and mobile phones.On January 29, the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) detained five alleged participants of this extremist wing, who are now in custody in a pre-trial detention center. The investigation is ongoing.
