In 2025, 1,932 inspections were conducted, resulting in local authorities receiving 405 specialized warnings, as well as the preparation of 1,236 expert conclusions.
For 2026, the MES updated maps that reflect regions with the highest risks of dangerous natural phenomena, including mudflows, floods, and landslides.
Regional administrations have been instructed to prepare in advance for possible activations of natural processes, which includes:
- risk assessment;
- strengthening early warning mechanisms for the population;
- implementing preventive and engineering measures in the most at-risk areas.
The MES emphasizes that timely preparation and constant monitoring are essential conditions for preventing human casualties and minimizing material damage.
