A resident of the capital contacted the police, stating that on the night of January 16, his house on Sadyrbaev Street was the victim of a robbery. Unknown individuals broke open the front door and, taking advantage of the fact that the owners were not home, stole construction tools and two televisions.
According to available information, after committing the crime, the perpetrator called a taxi, loaded the stolen property into it, and left the scene.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case was opened under Article 205 (Theft) of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan.
Law enforcement officers detained the suspect, 36-year-old K.K. The Lenin District Court imposed a preventive measure in the form of electronic monitoring (bracelet).
During the investigation, not only the stolen items were seized, but also a bicycle, which also became material evidence in the case.
The police are checking the possible connection of the detainee with other similar crimes.
The investigation is ongoing.
