According to information from the prosecutor's office, the number of cases increased by 197 compared to the previous year. Prosecutors actively acted as state prosecutors at all stages of the judicial proceedings, ensuring compliance with legality and justice.
Of the total number of cases reviewed:
- in 1,419 cases (52.5%), guilty verdicts were delivered against 1,854 individuals;
- 1,080 cases (39.9%) were terminated;
- in 67 cases, acquittals were delivered concerning 98 individuals.
Bekbolotov noted that the number of acquittals decreased by 14 cases and 36 individuals compared to 2024.
Prosecutors also checked the legality of court decisions at the appellate and cassation stages, submitting motions against unlawful judicial acts, which sometimes led to their annulment or modification.
Particular attention was paid to criminal cases involving minors. During the reporting period, 84 cases concerning 132 minors were reviewed, and the state prosecution was conducted with an emphasis on protecting children's rights.
