After receiving information about the detention, the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Kuwait immediately began working to clarify all the circumstances of the case and to provide consular and legal assistance to Jenalieva.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that embassy staff maintained contact with the relatives of the detainee and provided them with all necessary information through phone calls.
