According to information provided by law enforcement agencies, two directors of private driving schools were detained in Bishkek. Kaktus.media reports that on January 30, in the First May District Court, an investigator from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic submitted a petition for the detention of K. Zh., who is accused under the article "Violent seizure of power." However, the judge decided to place him under house arrest until March 30, 2026.
Later, the court's press service clarified that there was a misunderstanding regarding the article. In fact, K. Zh. is accused under Article 379, Part 3 for "Forgery of documents with the aim of concealing another crime or facilitating its commission."
Additionally, T. uulu M. was taken into custody, who is accused of "Incitement to mass riots." He will remain in pre-trial detention until March 28, 2026, and his case is under review by the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek.
It is worth noting that T. uulu M. last week, along with several dozen colleagues, owners of private driving schools, arrived at the State Enterprise "Unaa." They were trying to find out the reasons for the lack of access to certain programs and issues with licenses.
The driving schools also appealed to the "White House" in hopes of meeting with the head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kanibek Tumanbaev, but he did not come out to them.
