The police conducted an analysis of publications on social networks
Materials have been found in Bishkek that could destabilize the socio-political situation in the country, reports the Main Internal Affairs Department (GUVD).
According to law enforcement agencies, on January 27, 2026, during monitoring of social networks and internet resources, posts aimed at undermining the authority of the authorities of the Kyrgyz Republic and exacerbating the political situation were found on the Instagram page of the user "meder.tagaibekovich".
Commenting on these publications, social network users shared opinions and calls that could contribute to the destabilization of the situation and provoke mass riots. In particular, issues concerning the closure of private driving schools in the country were discussed.
In this regard, the Investigative Service initiated a criminal case under Article 278 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning mass riots and calls for violence.
During operational activities, the police detained M.T., born in 1994, who was taken to the police station and placed in the temporary detention facility of the GUVD in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The detainee holds the position of head of the LLC "Aidoochulardy Dayardoo Borbor", known as the "Driver Training Center".
Currently, necessary investigative actions and checks are ongoing.
