At the time of the incident, four employees of the "BPK" company, which is engaged in the construction of underground facilities, were present at the site. An interdepartmental commission was established to investigate the causes and circumstances of the incident, which included representatives from various government agencies.
The press service of the Talas region's Internal Affairs Department confirmed the details of the incident, stating that the information was recorded in the electronic documents of the Talas district's Internal Affairs Department, and a preliminary investigation has begun. Leaders from the Talas region's Internal Affairs Department, the Talas District Department of Internal Affairs, and an investigative operational group went to the scene.
During the investigation, it was established that the collapse occurred while excavation work was being carried out, resulting in a rock mass crushing citizen B.I., born in 1975. Two of his colleagues also suffered injuries: N.O. (born in 1980) and B.M. (born in 1981), who were taken to the Talas Regional Unified Hospital with injuries.
In connection with the death of citizen B.I., a forensic medical examination has been appointed, and requests have been sent to the relevant institutions. The injured N.O. and B.M. were interviewed and stated that they had no claims against anyone regarding the incident.
