According to the information from the agency, the activities were organized in accordance with a protocol directive that was adopted following a meeting of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic on December 30, 2025. The aim of the raids was to enhance control over firearms in the Talas region.
As part of these operations, an inventory of civilian firearms and ammunition was conducted, as well as a check on the storage rules for award weapons.
As a result of the raids, law enforcement officers in the region seized 51 units of firearms, including: 9 rifled, 37 smoothbore, 4 gas-traumatic, and 1 unit of award weapon.
