A man suspected of fraudulent activities involving a Mercedes-Benz car has been detained in the Chui region. According to local police, the vehicle was sold to third parties, after which it was seized and classified as evidence. The investigation of the criminal case is currently ongoing.
It has been reported that the complainant, a citizen named K.T., born in 1989, contacted the police stating that on October 27, a certain A., having gained his trust under the pretext of making a purchase, stole his Mercedes-Benz 124, valued at 250,000 soms, and fled the scene.
Based on this fact, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During operational activities, law enforcement officers detained the suspect, a citizen named M.A., born in 1992, who was placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation established that the detained individual had managed to sell the car to third parties, and the vehicle was seized.
Law enforcement agencies urge citizens who may have fallen victim to the actions of this suspect to contact the Internal Affairs Department of the Moscow district or call the numbers 0312 60-77-27 and 0701 15-96-54.
