In the Fergana region, law enforcement officers thwarted an attempt to smuggle psychotropic substances imported from neighboring Kyrgyzstan. As a result of the operation, a local resident was detained, from whom nearly three thousand tablets containing psychotropic substances were seized, as reported by Podrobno.uz.
According to data provided by the State Security Service, the operation was conducted in the city of Kokand. During the inspection, a Gentra car was stopped, in which the detainee, born in 1994, was located.
During the search of his belongings, 2797 tablets of the drug "Regapen" were found, which, according to the investigation, was imported into the country illegally. A criminal case has been initiated against the detainee, and he has also been placed in custody as a preventive measure.
