Due to this incident, a family with four children was left without a roof over their heads and was forced to temporarily move into a rented apartment.
The head of the family, Shamsharbek Seyitbekov, reported that they bought the house in September for 2 million soms. Together with his wife, they are raising three daughters and one son. After the incident, the family stayed for some time in a trailer belonging to their neighbors, but currently, local authorities have helped them find temporary housing.
“According to our assumptions, the fire may have started from the chimney of the stove. At the time of the incident, only the children were in the house. Fortunately, no one was injured. We have started to dismantle the burned roof and clean the house. We urgently need help with building materials, and we have reached out to the community for support,” he said.
