In Bishkek, in the residential area "Bakay-Ata", a tragic incident occurred: two children, aged 8 and 5, drowned in a canal. This information was provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES).
According to the agency, the report of the incident came from the police, who informed about the fall of the children, born in 2017 and 2020, into the water body.
Six MES workers were involved in the rescue operations. Rescuers retrieved the bodies of the deceased children from the canal and handed them over to the police representatives.
