Last night, the bodies of two missing children were found in the residential area of "Bakay-Ata," located in Bishkek. A nine-year-old girl and a six-year-old boy did not manage to return home after a walk.

Concerned about their children's disappearance, the parents sought help on social media. In the evening, around 5:00 PM, they went outside, and after that, contact with them was lost. Neighbors, relatives, and local residents responded to the search for the children.

Starting at 9:00 PM, law enforcement and rescue services arrived at the scene and began active searches. Unfortunately, around midnight, the bodies of the children were discovered in one of the nearby bodies of water. According to preliminary data, they became victims of drowning.

Local residents noted that the children often played near this body of water, including ice skating. They also mentioned that the water body had previously been used as an ash dump, which could pose a danger to children.

Law enforcement agencies are working at the scene of the tragedy, conducting necessary examinations and investigating the circumstances of the incident. An initial inquiry is underway.

In connection with the incident, the police are urging parents to be attentive to the safety of their children, especially near dangerous places.
