Man divorced his wife and was robbed, allegedly by her relative

The incident occurred in the Issyk-Ata district of the Chui region, where a man was robbed of a significant amount of money. This was reported by the regional department of internal affairs. According to law enforcement, on January 25, a 77-year-old man, K. A., approached the local police station. He stated that on the night of January 24 to 25, around 00:30, unknown individuals broke into his house, tied him up, and beat him. According to the victim, the robbers took 165,000 soms and a mobile phone. According to the investigation, the strange situation was organized by one of the relatives of the victim's ex-wife, as the couple is currently divorced.
It is also reported that the suspects believed that a large sum of money from the sale of a land plot was kept in the safe; however, in reality, a significant portion of the funds was stored in a bank deposit.
