Driver of a "Honda Stepwgn" hit 3 schoolchildren at high speed, then crashed into other cars in the village of Furkat — the moment was captured on video

A traffic accident occurred on January 26 in the village of Furkat, located in the Aiyl district of Datka, Karasuu district, Osh region.

According to eyewitness accounts, the incident happened on the Bishkek—Osh road.

The Department of Road Safety (UOBDD) of the Osh region confirmed the information about the incident. It took place at 14:50 on the 663 km of the Bishkek—Osh highway, within the village of Furkat.

Preliminary data indicates that a 25-year-old resident of the Aiyl district of Otuz-Adyr, K. uulu M., was driving a "Honda Step" and, traveling at high speed from north to south, hit schoolchildren who were at the pedestrian crossing on the west side of the road. The victims were residents of the village of Furkat: A.A., born in 2018, her sister A.A., born in 2016, and O.A., born in 2019.

After that, the driver of the "Honda" collided with a "Daewoo Tico" that was parked on the roadside. The "Daewoo" was driven by a 32-year-old resident of the village of Torgoy-Bulak, K. uulu K. As a result of the impact, the "Daewoo" was pressed against a "Mercedes-Benz Atego 1217," driven by 28-year-old G. uulu T. from the village of Shibe in the Aiyl district of Jekendi, Chon-Alai district.

As a result of the accident, the driver of the "Daewoo Tico," K. uulu U., and his two sons—K.U., born in 2015, and K.A., born in 2018—sought medical assistance at the Osh regional hospital.

According to the UOBDD, the "Honda Step" was placed in a towing lot, and the case materials were transferred to the investigative authorities.
