On December 29, 2025, a local resident M.Z., born in 1986, appealed to the Jeti-Oguz District Internal Affairs Department.
He reported that on September 29, 2025, two individuals evaluated his 37 sheep at 510,000 soms, paid only 265,000 soms, and disappeared with the remaining 245,000 soms.
One of the suspects left a fake document of ownership for a land plot in the village of Tamga, which resulted in material damage amounting to 245,000 soms.
This case was registered, and a criminal case was initiated under Article 209, Part 3, Clause 2 ("Fraud") of the Criminal Code.
As a result of operational-search activities, the suspects were identified, who had fraudulently acquired the property of another 9 citizens. They were detained at their hiding place. A total of 10 criminal cases have been opened.
The total amount of damage amounted to 3,342,000 soms, of which 1,598,000 soms has been compensated to the victims.
The suspects are residents of the Jeti-Oguz district: N.G., born in 1989 (village of Tamga), K.A., born in 1986, and M.S., born in 1995 (both from the village of Barskoon).
According to the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Kul region, during interrogation, the suspects admitted their guilt. The court has chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention for one month.
