According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the incident happened at the 140th kilometer of the Bishkek–Osh road when a fuel tanker transporting petroleum products caught fire.
At 11:36, a report of the fire was received by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, after which Fire and Rescue Unit No. 22 from the Jayil district was dispatched to the scene.
The fire was completely extinguished by 14:44. As a result of the tragedy, two people lost their lives, and their identities are currently being established.
After the completion of the work to eliminate the consequences of the incident, traffic on this section of the road was restored, and vehicles can move without any restrictions.
