During a raid conducted by the employees of the State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic, illegal trade in tobacco products was discovered in Manas. This was reported by the press service of the tax authority.
At the central market of the city, 6,012 packs of cigarettes were found in one of the hidden premises, with a total value of 721,440 soms.
It is noted that the found tobacco products lacked the necessary documents and excise stamps.
“In this case, primary procedural documents were drawn up on-site in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic. Currently, the inspection materials are being prepared for transfer to law enforcement agencies, which will conduct a legal assessment and make an appropriate procedural decision,” the statement said.
