Police officers stopped a vehicle in the village of Vostok, where a large batch of narcotic substances was discovered. This was reported by the Internal Affairs Department of the Sverdlovsk District of Bishkek.
Previously, law enforcement received information that a citizen named A.A. was engaged in illegal activities related to drugs at the intersection of Jibek-Jolu Avenue and Kalinin Street.
As a result of operational search activities conducted at the corner of Kalinin and Ozyornaya Streets in the village of Vostok, a "KIA Picanto" vehicle was stopped. During the inspection of the car's interior, the suspect A.A. voluntarily handed over a package containing a plant substance with a characteristic smell, weighing a total of 2 kg 014 grams.
According to the results of a forensic chemical examination, the seized substance has been identified as a narcotic drug — cannabis (marijuana), confirming its inclusion in the list of prohibited drugs.
The suspect is currently in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate. Necessary investigative actions are ongoing within the framework of the criminal case.
