Operational services received information that in the area of the intersection of Jibek Jolu Avenue and Kalinin Street, one citizen was engaged in the collection, storage, and distribution of drugs.
Based on the gathered materials, the Investigative Service of the Sverdlovsk District Department of Internal Affairs initiated a criminal case under Article 283 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the illegal production of narcotic substances and their analogs without the intent to sell.
As a result of operational actions conducted at the corner of Kalinin and Ozernaia Streets, police officers stopped a KIA Picanto vehicle. The driver, identified as A.A., voluntarily handed over a package containing a plant-based substance with a characteristic smell. The weight of the seized substance was 2 kilograms and 14 grams.
According to preliminary results of the forensic chemical examination, this substance has been identified as a narcotic drug — cannabis (marijuana).
The suspect has been detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek. Investigative actions are ongoing.
