According to eyewitness accounts, on the road Karakol—Ananievo—Balıkchy, between the villages of Toru-Ayghyr and Kosh-Kol, the vehicle lost control.
Preliminary data indicates that the incident happened on January 21, 2026, around 18:00. The driver, born in 1999, a resident of the capital Bishkek named Sh.A., was driving a "BMW 330" from east to west. At the 28th kilometer of the Balıkchy—Ananievo—Karakol road, near the village of Toru-Ayghyr, he was unable to control the car, which went off the road and overturned, leading to the traffic incident.
Information about the incident has been recorded in the electronic log of the Issyk-Kul Regional Department of Internal Affairs. Currently, investigative authorities are conducting the necessary checks.
As a result of the accident, one person died, and two others sustained injuries of varying severity.
