In the village of Maevka, located in Bishkek, on January 23, employees of the Public Security Service of the GOM-8 of the Internal Affairs Department of the Pervomaisky District conducted an operation aimed at curbing illegal trade in petroleum products (PP).

During the raid on Molodaya Gvardiya Street, several points where such activities were taking place were identified. Some sellers were selling gasoline from cars using plastic bottles.

In particular, in one of the Lexus LX470 vehicles, the police found 10-liter containers completely filled with PP. The driver, despite his apologies and promises not to break the law again, was detained and taken to the police station, where a report was drawn up and a fine of 3000 soms was imposed. Additionally, bottles of fuel were confiscated, and further measures will be taken by the district court.

Also, during the inspection, the police discovered cases of PP being sold in the homes of local residents. One woman, noticing the approaching police "Niva," tried to hide in her house but was detained, and the gasoline was confiscated. She was also taken to the police for further investigation.

As reported by the GOM, such raids are conducted regularly.
