In the Issyk-Kul region, in the village of Min-Bulak, part of the roof of a school being built by the charity fund "As-Salam" collapsed. This was reported by the Ministry of Construction.

The construction of the educational institution, designed for 150 places and named after Islam Kasmaliev, began in 2023.

According to the Ministry of Construction, the project is being implemented by the "As-Salam" fund, with the contractor being LLC "Energy-Nur Stroy." The school had not yet been commissioned, as the Issyk-Kul regional office of the state architectural and construction control department had not accepted the facility during the final stages of roof installation. "Warnings regarding the quality of work have been repeatedly sent to the contractor," the press release states.
The collapse occurred on the night of January 18, when heavy snowfall was observed in the region.
After the incident, LLC "Energy-Nur Stroy" received a written order to restore the structure. As of today, the roof has been fully restored. A fine of 200,000 soms has been imposed on the company, and the issue of suspending its license will be discussed at a commission meeting.

The official commissioning of the facility will only be possible after verification by the authorized bodies and obtaining a positive conclusion.
