Raid "Arsenal" in Nooken: Violations of Weapon Storage and Illegal Hunting Identified

According to the department's data, employees of the Nooken District Internal Affairs Department checked how citizens store their registered firearms and whether they have the necessary permits.
"As a result of the inspections, protocols were drawn up for four citizens for non-compliance with the rules of weapon storage in accordance with Article 134 of the Code of the Kyrgyz Republic on Offenses. In total, they were fined 12,000 soms. One citizen voluntarily handed over illegally stored firearms to the police. In addition, during the raid, a resident of the Nooken district, T.Sh., was detained for using a 16-caliber firearm without the necessary documents for hunting. He was transferred to the investigative authorities," the statement said.
Currently, necessary investigative actions are being conducted.
