In 2025, over 700 kg of synthetic drugs were seized in the territory of Kyrgyzstan.

According to the report from the Drug Control Service (DCS) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, 17 underground drug laboratories were dismantled in 2025, of which five were involved in the production of synthetic drugs.

During operations conducted by the DCS, more than 700 kg of synthetic drugs were seized.

Throughout the year, law enforcement agencies carried out 21 special operations using the "controlled delivery" method, including operations outside the country. Three new laws and two cabinet resolutions were also adopted to improve the fight against drug trafficking.

According to the agency, the activities of 116 drug groups were disrupted, leading to the resolution of 142 drug-related crimes. As a result of these activities, 286 individuals were detained, including 22 members of organized crime groups who were on the specialized register of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The DCS also noted that 82 crimes related to the use of the internet and mobile messengers were identified. In response, 54 online stores were blocked, 15 of which were by court order.

Additionally, in 2025, 17 attempts to import drugs into the country through postal shipments from various countries were prevented. 33 foreign nationals were prosecuted for drug-related crimes.

As part of criminal cases, courts issued decisions to seize property obtained from drug trafficking. This includes 15 residential houses with a total value of 106 million 800 thousand soms, 25 plots of land worth 17 million 650 thousand soms, and 26 vehicles valued at 49 million 358 thousand soms. Cash amounts of $111,900, 8 million Uzbek soms, 9 million 274 thousand 580 soms, and 2 thousand rubles were also seized.

Furthermore, 114 offenses related to drug trafficking were identified, resulting in fines totaling 1 million 417 thousand soms.
