The contractor of the Ministry of Defense is accused of causing damage to the state amounting to 244 million soms

According to information provided by the press service of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (GKNB), one of the companies supplying weapons for the Ministry of Defense violated the terms of its contract.

An audit conducted by the Ministry of Finance revealed that the state suffered damage amounting to 244 million 587 thousand 870 soms (equivalent to 2.7 million euros). As a result, a criminal case was initiated, and the contractor has already fully compensated for the damage.

The investigation is ongoing, during which individuals from the agency who may be connected to this incident are being identified.
