Employees of the criminal investigation department of the Leilek District Department of Internal Affairs conducted an operation, as a result of which a 42-year-old resident of the village of Katran was detained. The man was engaged in illegal hunting in the mountainous area located to the east of the village of Özgörüş.

This information was provided by the press service of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Batken region.

During the inspection, the detainee was found to possess a 12-gauge firearm and ammunition, which he kept without the necessary permits.

The fact of the detention has been recorded in the electronic log of the Leilek District Department of Internal Affairs.

Currently, necessary investigative actions are being carried out.
