A fire that occurred in Bishkek claimed the life of one foreigner, reports the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. As a result of the incident, 38 people were evacuated.
The blaze broke out in a dormitory located in the Sverdlovsk district. Firefighters who arrived at the scene were able to completely extinguish the fire by 10:20.
One firefighting unit and the command staff participated in the extinguishing efforts.
According to the duty officer of the Bishkek Emergency Situations Department, the body of a foreign citizen born in 2004 was found during the debris clearance. The evacuation involved 38 people.
The total area of the fire was approximately 20 square meters.
