Landslide Occurred in the Kara-Kulja District

Today, January 14, in the village of Sharkyratma, located in the Ulay-Talaa region of the Kara-Kulja district of the Osh region, a ground collapse, known as a landslide, occurred. The situation attracted the attention of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic, which promptly dispatched personnel to the scene to gather information.
According to the department, key figures were sent to the incident site: the deputy head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Osh region, the head of the district emergency department, as well as three experts from the Department of Monitoring and Forecasting of Emergencies and one officer. In addition, a representative of the local ayil okmotu joined them.
At the moment, specialists are assessing the volume of the fallen mass, as well as determining the level of danger and other important aspects of the incident.
