Landslide in Osh Region: Rescuers Urgently Deployed to Assess the Threat

In the Kara-Kulja district of the Osh region, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) have begun an investigation into reports of a possible landslide.

Information about the potential threat was received by the agency today, concerning the village of Sharkyrama in the specified area.
The deputy head of the MES department for the Osh region, the head of the district department, as well as three experts from the department of monitoring and forecasting of emergency situations and a representative of the village administration have gone to the scene.

At the moment, specialists are assessing the volume of the landslide, its potential danger, and accompanying factors. More information will be provided upon completion of the inspection.
