In the waters of the Black Sea, near the KTK marine terminal, an attack occurred on two oil tankers operating for Kazakhstan. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The first to be targeted was the tanker Matilda, registered under the flag of Malta. An explosion occurred on board the vessel, but there was no fire. The crew was unharmed, and preliminary reports indicate that the tanker did not sustain serious damage.

The second target of the attack was the tanker Delta Harmony, which was sailing under the Liberian flag. Following the incident, a small fire broke out on this vessel; however, it was quickly extinguished. The crew members also remained unharmed. The operational headquarters reported that at the time of the attack on Delta Harmony, the loading of oil had not yet begun, which helped avoid damage to Kazakhstan's export resources.

The Ministry of Energy is actively working with the national operator "KazMunayGas," as well as with the consortium administration and shipowners, to ensure the safety of logistics processes and the stability of export supplies, according to the official statement.
