8 residents of the Moscow region fined for illegal fuel sales

On January 12, a case of illegal trade in fuel and lubricants was recorded in the Chui region, in the Moscow district. As a result of the inspection, eight citizens were fined a total of 24,000 soms.

This information was provided by the district department for road safety.

According to the agency's report, there are five rural districts in the area.
According to the road service, "informational events are regularly held with local residents. Nevertheless, cases of illegal fuel sales continue to be recorded along the Bishkek – Kara-Balta road and on internal streets. During the raid on January 12, eight protocols were drawn up, and each violator was fined 3,000 soms."
Furthermore, the Road Safety Department stated that raids to identify instances of illegal fuel sales will continue. In the case of repeated violations, measures provided for in Article 179, Part 1 of the KR Code, concerning the use of roadside areas without coordination with authorized bodies for trade and placement of food facilities, advertising, and other structures, will be applied.

The official statement emphasizes that "selling fuel in unauthorized places is illegal."
