In Bishkek, fake police officers were detained. They are suspected of fraud involving thousands of dollars.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, the arrest was the result of a report made in January of this year. A citizen named K. A. reported that unknown individuals presented themselves as police officers and deceitfully obtained $10,000 from him, promising to help resolve his criminal case. After handing over the money, the fraudsters disappeared.

It was also possible to identify one of the suspects — A. A., born in 1982, who had previously had legal issues. He is currently in custody, having been arrested by the State Committee for National Security on another fraud case.
