Hawkeye Strike. US Armed Forces Struck Territory of Syria
The strikes were authorized by President Donald Trump on January 10 and became part of an operation codenamed "Hawkeye strike." These actions followed an attack by ISIS on American servicemen that occurred on December 13, as stated in the Centcom press release.
The aim of these strikes was to suppress terrorist activity and protect U.S. and allied forces in the region.
“We want our message to be clear: if you harm our servicemen, we will find you and eliminate you anywhere in the world, no matter how you try to evade justice,” Centcom emphasized.
During the operation, more than 90 precision-guided munitions were used, targeting over 35 sites, with the involvement of more than 20 aircraft.
Currently, there is no information available regarding the locations of the attacks or the number of possible casualties.
