A resident of Osh reported harassment towards her seven-year-old daughter

The suspect, in turn, filed a report of kidnapping and beatings


Muhabat Kadyrova, a resident of the city of Osh, turned to the media to share that her seven-year-old daughter became a victim of sexual harassment by the driver of a school bus from one of the private educational institutions. She shared this information with the "Akipress" agency.

According to her, the girl began to show fear of school. During the holidays, she told her mother that the school transport driver had harassed her. The schoolgirl was the last to get off the bus, and the driver offered her a drink, after which she lost consciousness. He then took her to a secluded place, where he committed unacceptable acts, threatening her if she decided to tell anyone about what happened. This led to the girl becoming afraid of men, often crying at night, and refusing to go to school.

Upon learning of the incident, the mother, along with her brothers, took the driver to the police. However, according to her, the law enforcement agencies took no action, leaving him free. The results of the examination are not yet ready, and psychological help for her daughter has not been organized.

The director of the educational institution, Rustam Salimov, noted that the school is interested in an objective investigation of the incident. He also clarified that the driver in question works under a contract and is not a permanent employee of the school, and that no complaints had been received about him previously.

The Osh Internal Affairs Department confirmed that two reports have been registered in this case: one from the girl's mother and the other from the driver himself, who claims that he was forcibly detained by residents of the Kara-Suu district, held in one of the private houses for 12 hours, beaten, and forced to confess to committing lewd acts. An investigation is currently underway.
