At Issyk-Kul, two young men are suspected of raping a minor.

On January 4, in Karakol, a 48-year-old woman reported to the local police department that her 13-year-old daughter left home on January 2 at 14:00 and did not return.

After registering the statement, necessary search and verification actions began. As a result of operational measures, the location of the girl was established, and she was handed over to the juvenile affairs inspection officers.

During the further investigation, the minor was interviewed in the presence of her mother. She reported that on January 7, 2026, in the village of Ak-Suu, she was sexually assaulted in an unfamiliar house.

This incident was recorded, and a forensic examination was appointed. Since the incident occurred in the Ak-Suu district, the case materials were transferred to the relevant district department.

The case is registered with the Ak-Suu district police department, and a criminal case has been initiated under Article 157 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic "Sexual acts against a person under the age of sixteen."

Suspects.
As a result of the conducted operational-investigative measures, two residents of the village of Ak-Suu — O. U. and B. K., both born in 2006, were detained. According to preliminary information, the suspects confessed to their guilt and, in accordance with Articles 96-97 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, were placed in a temporary detention facility. The investigation is ongoing.
