The incident occurred on January 5 in the city of Kainy, when around six in the morning, an unknown assailant attacked a 53-year-old man near the "Nur" store. As a result of the attack, he was not only beaten but also sustained injuries from a sharp object.
This case was registered under Article 280 ("Hooliganism") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Law enforcement authorities detained the suspect, identified as E.Sh., born in 1998. The court has chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention for two months.
The investigation has established that the attacker was in a state of alcohol intoxication at the time of the crime.
