Body of a man with a gunshot wound found in a house in Bishkek
In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, an investigation has been initiated following the discovery of a man's body with a gunshot wound.
According to information provided by the Main Department of Internal Affairs, on January 7, 2026, at 11:00, a call was received at the number "102." The caller, identifying herself as a domestic worker, reported that a man had been found in the house with a gunshot wound. It was established that his name was Z.H., he was born in 1967, and a pistol was found near the body.
The fact was registered in the log of the Unified Accounting of the Sverdlovsk District Internal Affairs Department, after which a preliminary investigation was initiated. An investigative operational group promptly arrived at the scene.
Upon arrival at the scene, the information was confirmed: the body of a man was found in the kitchen of the house. A pistol, the brand of which has not been established, was located under the body. During the examination of the premises, it was determined that the order in the house had not been disturbed, and no signs of a struggle were found. A visual inspection of the body also did not reveal any additional bodily injuries.
Considering the collected materials, the incident is preliminarily being considered as a possible suicide. Currently, all necessary checks are being conducted, examinations have been appointed, and details of the incident are being established.
